Sunday School Ministry
Our Sunday school groups are the perfect way to meet other people and find a place for you in Heritage Baptist Church while you learn about God in a practical way. Each class also has monthly activities and fellowships. Our Adult Sunday school ministry is split up into four classes. Our College and Career Class known as the Crossroads Class includes single adults that have graduated high school through those that have graduated college or are 26 years old. The True North Class (ages 25-34) is taught by Jantz Goble. The Ambassadors Class (ages 35-44) is taught by Michael Wiggins. The Victory Class (ages 45-59) is taught by Kelly Clark. The Faith class (ages 60 & up) is taught by Gary Cox.
Music Ministry
Heritage Baptist Church believes that the worship service is very important to God. To help prepare our hearts for the preaching of God’s Word, we have a choir, special singers, and groups perform at each service. Our choir meets every Sunday morning at 9:00AM. Special singers and groups practice periodically as well. This is a great way to share your talents to glorify God.
Evangelistic Soul Winning
Every Tuesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 10:00 am HBC members meet to obey the Great Commission and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Visits include those that are not able to make it to church for health or other reasons, visitors to our church, people new to the community, and others.
Women of Virtue & Men of Valor
Once a month men and women meet in their respective groups in order to build up and encourage one another to be more spiritually effective in the home, church, and community. Women of Virtue meet one Thursday night a month. Their meetings consist of a home cooked meal, a practical devotion, and activities used to draw the women together and have fun. Men of Valor also meet once a month, sometimes in the mornings and sometimes in the evenings. Each monthly meeting consists of a meal, a prayer meeting or preaching session from Christian business men around the United States, and fellowship with one another. Twice a year churches from around the DFW Metroplex gather together at different churches for Men of Valor Rallies.
