Audio/Video - FAQ's
Q. I missed a sermon, how can I listen or watch it?
A. Past sermons can be accessed 3 ways from the Audio/Video page.
1. Listen or Watch the 5 most recent sermons (in streaming format)
2. Go to the "archived audio" section and either download or listen to the stream online
3. Subscribe to our Podcast and your computer will automatically download every sermon to your computer; at which point you can also have copied to your mp3 player if you desire.
Q. Is it possible to move forward and backwards through the recorded sermons?
A. On streaming audio and streaming video, you can NOT move forward or backwards due to the nature of a stream file. But if you go to the "archived audio" section, you can move forward or backwards by right-clicking on the actual sermon title and choose "Save Target As" to download the audio file to your computer. Once the file is saved to your comupter, you have full control.
Q. Sometimes when I try to watch the streaming video online, the video gets a little "choppy". Why is that?
A. Streaming video uses A LOT of bandwidth; about 242 kbps PER user connected. What that means is that with our current internet connection, we only have enough room for 2-3 concurrent users adequately. Once we pass 3 concurrent users, then the video begins to get "choppy", but the audio should remain "stable". We understand how annoying that can be, and in order to do everything we can to make the experience as pleasant as possible, we separate the audio stream from the video stream. This results in the audio remaining at a good quality level, even if the video begins to get "choppy". As this ministry continues to grow, we have all intentions to increase our bandwidth to support more concurrent users. Ministries like this can only continue with the support of God's people.
Please donate today and keep this great ministry going.
